Lulu & Marula is a natural, ethically produced skin and body care collection developed in Cape Town, South Africa. Lulu & Marula create conscious, scientifically formulated skin care that works with your skin to balance and boost its natural processes for healthier, happier skin.

Lulu & Marula was started in 2013 by Jesslynn Shepherd, a long-time beauty enthusiast, skincare product hoarder, and green living idealist. The brand launched in response to Jesslynn’s personal struggles to find a simple, truly natural solution to her complicated skin. A few years later, professional skincare scientist Monique Spaltman joined the team, and now heads up all product research, development and testing to ensure top-notch quality, always. Only pure botanical and plant-derived ingredients are used; none of their products contain any artificial colours, fragrances, parabens, petrochemicals, synthetics or other harmful ingredients. Lulu & Marula don’t test on animals, and all their products are endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty.
